1. Who is the Data Controller and how can I contact it?

The data controller is COSMOTE - MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS SINGLE MEMBER S.A. (COSMOTE) whose registered offices are at 99, Kifisias Ave., Marousi, Attica, tel. 13888 for household customers and 13818 for business customers.

To exercise any of your rights you can send an email to customerprivacy@cosmote.gr or a fax to 2102511888 or a letter to COSMOTE Customer Care, 99 Kifisias Ave., Marousi, GR-15124 putting “Exercise of personal data rights” in the subject line, accompanied by a copy of your ID Card, and stating your name-surname, mobile or landline number.

3. What categories of personal data do you collect and process and for what purpose?

To provide services via the Webpage and to enable an agent to communicate with you about the service you have expssed an interest in, we collect and/or process:

  • Data generated while you are browsing webpages. That information is sent in anonymized format to Google which analyzes it to help improve our webpages. Note that by anonymous data we mean data that does not allow a natural person to be identified in any way. You can turn off this function using Cookies settings (Cookies Settings, Category: Performance Cookies).

4. How long do you retain my personal data?

Data generated while you are browsing webpages is retained for 14 months.

5. Will COSMOTE process my personal data for other purposes?

COSMOTE will not process your personal data for purposes other than the ones stated above.

6. Who are the recipients of my personal data and for what purpose is it sent?

To help provide and support the webpage, COSMOTE collaborates with OGILVYONE COMMUNICATIONS S.A. whose registered offices are at 10, Imathias St., Gerakas, Attica (hereinafter the Advertising Firm).

The Advertising Firm is the data processor acting on COSMOTE’s behalf, which is to say it has undertaken to perform a certain task by following our instructions and by implementing the OTE Group’s strict personal data processing procedures. In these cases, COSMOTE continues to be responsible for the processing of your personal data. Other than that, COSMOTE shall not disclose, process or make public your personal data to third parties, save for cases where notification/transfer is required by the applicable legislation.

Other than via OGILVYONE COMMUNICATIONS S.A., COSMOTE shall not process or make public your personal data to third parties, save for cases where notification/transfer is required by the applicable legislation.

7. What are my personal data protection rights as a user of your Service?

You are entitled to submit a request to COSMOTE:

· For information about the categories of personal data we process, the purposes of processing, the recipients of that data and the retention period.

· To correct your personal data if inaccurate data about you is being processed.

  • To erase your data.
  • To restrict the processing of your data.

· To object to the processing of your data.

· To request that your data be transferred to another controller (data portability), meaning the right to receive your data in a suitable format so that it is technically feasible to transfer it to another controller.

8. What measures are taken to protect my personal data?

COSMOTE implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss and against unauthorized alteration, disclosure or access, and against all other unlawful forms of processing.

9. Services provided by other companies responsible for their own services

Google

On our webpages we use the functionality provided by Google AdWords from Google Inc. (“Google”). That functionality is provided via a cookie and is used to psent webpage users with advertisements tailored to their interests as part of the Google Advertising Network. Users can then see advertisements on those pages which are related to the content they have already accessed on websites that utilize Google’s remarketing function. Google has declared that it does not collect personal data as part of this process. However, if you do not want to use Google’s remarketing feature, you can permanently disable it by adjusting the relevant settings on http://www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for targeted advertising via network advertising by following the instructions available at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp. If you access our websites via a Google advertisement, Google AdWords saves a cookie on your computer. That cookie expires after 30 days. No conclusions can be drawn about you as an individual. We use the information we collect with the aid of cookies to generate website traffic statistics. That means that we learn how many visitors came to our webpages using Google advertising over a 30-day period. We use the Custom Audience and Facebook pixel services provided by Facebook on our webpages to optimize our advertising, provided you have given Facebook consent for this to happen. • Data about pixels. They include the pixel ID and the Facebook cookie data, including your Facebook ID.

• Additional information about visits to our website and usage (such as orders, products searched, products accessed).

This data processing only relates to users with a Facebook account or those who have acquired access to a page operated by an associate of Facebook (where a cookie is set). The display of advertisements on Facebook associate webpages using the Custom Audience service does not affect users who are not Facebook members.

If the Facebook ID included in the Facebook cookie can be assigned to a Facebook user, Facebook assigns that user to a target group (Custom Audience) based on the rules specified. We use the information obtained in this way to psent our companies’ advertisements on the pages operated by Facebook associates.

This data processing only relates to users with a Facebook account or those who have acquired access to a page operated by an associate of Facebook (where a cookie is set). The display of advertisements on Facebook associate webpages using the Custom Audience service does not affect users who are not Facebook members. If the Facebook ID included in the Facebook cookie can be assigned to a Facebook user, Facebook assigns that user to a target group (Custom Audience) based on the rules specified. We use the information obtained in this way to psent our companies’ advertisements on the pages operated by Facebook associates. If you want to be excluded from the use of Facebook pixel, you can deactivate Facebook cookies or deactivate JavaScript on your browser.
